The SWS Challenge is organized in a serious of workshops:

• Workshop Stanford (March 2006)
• Workshop Budva (June 2006, co-located with ESWC 2006)
• Workshop Athens (November 2006, co-located with ISWC 2006)
• Workshop Innsbruck (June 2007, co-located with ESWC 2006)
• A Special Session about the SWS Challenge, titled "Comparative Evaluation of Semantic Web Service Frameworks" was held at the 9th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS2007), June 12-16 2007.
• Workshop Stanford (2) (November 2007)
  This workshop is merged with the SerComp'07 at the 2007 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence (WI 2007)
• EON-SWSC2008 (June 2008, located at ESWC2008)
• Workshop Karlsruhe (October 2008, at ISWC2008)
